ive created a monster
got to drive my car today after the long battle of installs. all i can say is damn the car is very responsive. i definately need some drag radials or slicks. its weird getting use to the detroit locker, but from what i have read online everything i have heard is normal. i need to set some things still and finish welding the bottom plates to my lower torque boxes. i believe my over heating issues are over also. and all the custom brackets that i made along with the double roller pulley setup is functioning properly. i will post some pics tomorrow maybe even try to get a video of the car .i can say that im wearing a permanent smile from ear to ear the long wait was well worth it

lol its all good and i fixed the problem that led me to the pole the first time, now she burns out str8 and posi . first thing freds daughter said to his wife when i pulled out and went down the street was jimmy hit the pole again but i didnt . the car is like a sling shot that reloads when the gears change. but yea let me get the bugs worked out set my timing etc.. and well go for a spin on 287 . im in the trial and error stage right now testing my work on the brackets and double idler roller pulley assembly i made.

thanks to all for the luck but the monster died today at 109k. i was pushing my limit for a long time at 12-14# boost on the motor. i got about 35,000 miles of abuse out of that motor. once the new rear with gears going from the 308 to 430s was installed the weakest link of my car failed. the good thing is i have a spare built shortblock so i should be up and running in a week or 2. but damn she had one hell of a last run .
