Default Spool vs Diff

Always looking into new things... Was eyeing a Strange or Moser 31spline spool, if it may be better than buying a differential like originally planned. I really don't see too many people talk about 'em, just another taboo mod?

Already read that daily driving on a spool makes your turning a bit annoying, which I won't be doing much of anyway, so I wouldn't care for that bit. Seems the weight loss from it and equal power to both wheels would really count most.

Enlightening soon...

I run a spool on the street. It's definitely tough on stuff but worth it for the benefits. Make sure to use 5/8 studs to combat the additional stress to avoid shearing them
