Default manual rack

I have been saving up for this build and after seeing carl edwards hang in the twisties with no assiting mods in his fusion but power with the new mclaren inspired me to pull the power steering. Now granted I willl never be pulling into a walmart parking space so I am not worried about turning at stand still. I am looking at the flaming river 15:1 setup with maximum motorsport installation kit. Anybody have any bad things to say about them or know of any other good companies I should look into.

You sir are on the right track! Used flaming river many many times no issues. when you say MM install kit are you saying solid steering shaft, solid rack bushings?

I see, wonder why they wouldn't use solid steering rack bushings maybe you can have them swap for solid bushings. The reason I say solid is because you put a lot of pressure on the rack mounting points when you swap to manual and the urethane will wear out over time. I have always used solid when swapping to a manual rack in the past
