Default Inspecting an SN95

I've been bit by the Mustang bug again...

I'm going to look at a 1996 GT in Connecticut early next week.

Is there anything particular I should be looking for? Any notorious rot spots or things of that nature? I know my way around a Fox pretty well and knowing where to look, but not so much with the SN95s.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Bottom of doors
Floor pans under carpet
Torque boxes - rust and (especially) cracking.

You do know the motors suck in those things, right?

So I ended up pulling the trigger. 1996 Mustang GT, black on black, has 160k on it. The guy I got it from had had it since 2002 and gave me every service record and receipt since '02.

He bought it with 60k on it and daily drove it in fair weather 14 miles a day. The car is in unbelievable shape- the interior is great, there's no rot, and it runs like a top.

Thank you guys!! Should be getting the plates today. The car really is super clean- people have been stopping to ask if it's for sale already.

I'll ask here first: does anyone have an extra center cap for those style wheels? I'm missing one and thought I would look local first
