Default Tuning Session, part 2.........

After alot of hurtles, I was finally able to venture back down to Wicked's shop and get my car retuned for the rental. Between work and waiting on parts, it did not seem like it was gonna happen before the Fall Rental. With the help of a few HPM members, it all came together yesterday.

The car had been originally tuned at 12 lbs via a RR 3.33" pulley to make it possible to clock some safe and conservative break in miles on the new motor. Along the way it was decided that the car should really have a bigger injector, Derek with D'agostino Racing was more than happy to supply a set of the Sieman 80's. Unfortunately, that left me with a maf that needed to be recurved to work with the new injector. Out went the meter to PMAS. A smaller 3.0" RR pulley was added to up the boost.

Kevin fit me in this past Tuesday before he left for his build out in England. It was too late to get the dyno of my choice. Sorry, no dyno queen numbers yet.
He left timing very conservative as we couldn't see where the torque was dropping off(dyno needed). After hours of adjustments he had the car rite where we wanted it. I honestly had no idea that tuning had soooo friggin many aspects. I can't even fathom how guys do this themselves with the SCT Racer Software. Timing and AF is just a drop in the bucket with comparison to all the variables that are changed or adjusted.

Last but not least, the car made 19 lbs and the IAT's only reached 88 Degrees......
Kevin won't admit it, but I think my cooler is the reason. He may be rite though..........The YSI is still laughing at us.............
It feels amazing, seat time will def be the limiting factor for me...........

Big thanks to Kevin, Keith, Derek and Tommy for all the help/parts.
