I like the HID's but my reasons are different. One my Lex has them and they are pretty good. More importantly I need the vision on the mountain to scope out deers and stock lights suck. i have run PIAA 80/100watt pure whites and like those as an alternative.
But the most important reason is I drive very fast, typically at night:laughing2: and I have outrun my headlights in past. Meaning I can see anything very far ahead with stock bulbs. I have silverstars now, they are better but not great.
Do a quality HID no garbage kits, make sure it has dual filaments or its a waste.

lol the revenge is sweet but, it is also because of the amount of deers on the roads and the roads i drive on i really wanna be able to see far enough so that I don't wreck my car because of a dumb deer, this one road spookrock rd is terrible especially when it meets up with 202, its just crazy,.. and here sean i will send you the link to ones i want to buy, they are a good price so you will probably disapprove haha

The kit seems fine bro, for $120 its not bad. Here's the kit I plan to buy http://www.americanmuscle.com/hid-dual-beam-kit-9004.html Its a bit more at $280 but I have seen it on a few cars and I like it. Its not that cartoonish, hey pull me over officer blue. Its a purer white color and very bright and has the low/hi beam feature.

the problem is that you are pushing that kind of light through a diffuser style headlight which unfocuses the beam, making them blinding to other drivers but shortens the distance and clarity. HIDs when designed for the car will be in a projector type housing or at the very least a clear housing that focuses the beam.
IMO, if you are planning on hids get a non diffuser style headlight. I plan on getting the smoked euro style headlights and putting hids in.

but on every single HID kit it says,
HID kits are not to be used in a Projector light setup.

So says the listing... Have you seen this on a car yet? Good to see it on someone else car first, if you can. For $120 its not bad, honestly the PIAA bulbs run around $80-90 bucks for $30-40 more its worth a shot... If you hate them you can always switch up!

Because those particular bulbs are not designed to be. I'm just saying that IMO, on a mustang, hids should be put in clear headlights

You have to consider that the housing can change the way the light reflects. One problem with retro fitting HIDs is that the light pattern can be erratic. When I go HID I will be switching over to a better housing. Likely to be these http://www.americanmuscle.com/fox-chrome-headlights-amber.html

IMO you know the old saying, if ain't broke don't fix it, the HIDs never seem to work out in the fox body cars, also as far as the 8000k, not sure if you know this or not but the higher the kelvin rating(8000k) the more blue the lights look and the less you can actually see, if you do it go with 4300k-6000k tops, well only if you want to see at night.

8000k is almost double the kelvin rating of "oem" lights(usually around 4300k) not sure what you mean by bimmer blue? I would do the 6k

lol the really blue HIDS that BMW's have

oh I thought so, they are all around the same kelvin rating from the factory(federal regulation), bmw, lexus, lincoln, the only thing that makes the look "really blue" is the actual design of the headlight housing, some use a convex magnifying glass type thing.

This is true. I had a set on my 90(stock headlamps) and it was terrible. The beam pattern was way off and it did not disperse the light correctly. Also it blinded the oncoming traffic. You need a headlamp that with a bulb reflector at least to make the light travel ahead of the car like the one pictured. If you are going to use your stock headlight then you will be disappointed. Trust me on this.

those are not diffuser style, the lenses are clear, those would be ok to use the hids with...
diffuser style are blurry and you cannot see the bulb...
